We are starting to create our ideas and bring them together to create our music video in the decided genre 'acoustic folk'. After analysing a range of videos I have an idea of the generic codes and conventions that should be found in this genre of music video and will apply these into our own. As we are using Franis Pennington as our unsigned artist, he wrote his own song 'Falling Upwards' so to create the video and do it well I wanted to get an understanding of what the song is about and what he was feeling when he wrote it so I got in contact with him on Facebook:
