Magazine Advert - Final Draft

25/11/13

You can see from our magazine advert final draft we have used the photo most liked by our audience and taken it as similar as possible to the drawn draft we got our feedback from for accuracy. Here we have taken into consideration the positioning of the star rating as before you couldn't see it very well. We have made the artist name larger and bolder as well as the name of the album again to make it easier to read but also because it falls into the rule of thirds more than the drawn draft did.

For the star ratings we have moved them onto the side and put it in a boxed background to help grab the attention of the artist. The quote however is a bit hard to read in places which is a problem we have when creating this final draft as every other place you were unable to read it or it didn't look right. We have left it here as you can read what it says and by making it slightly difficuly it could draw in the audience as their curiosity will lure them in.

I think this magazine advert has been very succesful and shows how we are selling our artist to our target audience by using other methods of marketing like his name, image of the album, star ratings and quotes to attract the audience rather than using his image as this isn't what the genre is about.
