Audience Feedback

20/11/13

Today we have constructed our audience feedback from our digipak and magazine advert drafts, by doing this we gain a better understanding of what our target audience wants out of it. After considering the audience feedback we can make changes to meet the needs of our audience and then create the final drafts.

We have done two seperate questionnaires and tally charts for both our magazine advert and digipak. We have asked questions like which do you like best, would you make any changes and why etc as this gives us a good idea of what our audience likes and what they would want different. To the left is a pie chart of the information we have found from the tally chart.

Pie charts

The tally chart isn't very clear but you can see we have asked a range of people whether they like in order, magazine advert and digipak 1,2 and 3. You can just see that we got the most marks for digipak 1 and magazine advert 2 therefore we are using these designs for our final draft of digipak and magazine. The pie charts then reinforce this data making it clearer for you to see and understand why we are using the final drafts. Below are photos displayed in a grid of the audience feedback on paper where we collected the data before presenting it in pie charts and getting feedback from it to help improve our final draft to meet our audience's needs and expectations of a magazine and digipak.

Our audience feedback was constructed so we could make any necessary changes to our final drafts. We found our audience wanted the star ratings on the magazine advert to be moved so it is clearer to read, we also found that they wanted larger, more clear font in the artist name so we have changed this using Corel Draw. We have taken this into consideration for both our digipak and magazine advert before constructing the final draft to make sure we are meeting our audience's needs and expectations.
